OMEGA Unveils the Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph for 007 First Light

We already knew from the original announcement of 007 First Light that OMEGA would once again accompany Bond on his latest mission. Fans first got a closer look at the new Seamaster’s chronograph design during the James Bond Day celebrations, when IO Interactive released footage from inside MI6’s laboratory and Alastair Mackenzie delivered some of his very first lines as Q. The watch later appeared more prominently in gameplay-focused gadget sequences, including the Rules of Spycraft trailer, where its functions could be seen in action.

Now, the watch has finally been fully unveiled — and unlike its gadget counterpart in 007 First Light, fans will not have to wait until next week’s launch to get their hands on it. The new Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light is already available starting today.

Developed in collaboration with IO Interactive and Amazon MGM Studios, the 44 mm chronograph was created specifically for 007 First Light and now joins OMEGA’s long-running Bond collection.

Inside 007 First Light, the Seamaster also serves as one of Bond’s key gadgets. Players can use the watch to detect, manipulate or hack interactive elements throughout the environment, including lights, cameras and power systems.

Those functions can be used to sneak past enemies, create distractions or remove targets from Bond’s path altogether. Bond is also able to analyse opponents with the watch, identify weaknesses and potentially disable parts of their equipment during encounters.

The Seamaster’s laser strap additionally allows Bond to blind enemies or cut through parts of the environment — including objects such as chandelier mountings seen in the game’s stealth scenarios.

The First James Bond Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph

The chronograph design itself may not come as a surprise to fans who followed last year’s previews closely. OMEGA has now confirmed that the model marks the first chronograph in the history of the James Bond Seamaster Diver 300M line, giving the release a distinct place within the Bond watch lineage that began in 1995 with GoldenEye.

OMEGA explains that the chronograph layout was chosen specifically to match the model’s appearance inside the game. The subdials therefore are not merely aesthetic additions but part of the visual identity created for 007 First Light.

Black ceramic elements, bronze-gold accents and military-inspired fabric textures give the chronograph a more utilitarian aesthetic than many previous Bond editions. The overall design feels less formal and more operational in tone — fitting for a younger Bond still working his way through the 00 program.

A NATO Strap Inspired by Bond’s Field Gear

One of the most distinctive features is the exclusive NATO strap in black, grey and beige tones. The strap includes a Grade 5 titanium Seamaster clasp as well as engraved “007” and “First Light” markings on the loops.

The military-inspired palette may also feel familiar to longtime Bond fans, as the colour scheme draws inspiration from the Seamaster seen in No Time to Die, although the pattern itself was redesigned specifically for 007 First Light.

Compared to several earlier Bond editions, the strap and colour palette feel noticeably less formal and more operational in tone.

Six additional NATO strap variants featured throughout the game will also be sold separately through OMEGA’saccessories collection, allowing fans to recreate different in-game looks worn by Bond.

Black Ceramic, Bronze Gold and a Tactical Look

The dial itself continues that darker visual identity.

OMEGA uses a black ceramic dial with laser-engraved wave patterns, while the subdial ring at 3 o’clock and the central chronograph seconds hand feature a Bronze Gold PVD coating. The result is a restrained contrast that still gives the model the premium finish associated with modern Bond watches.

The polished black ceramic pushers further reinforce the stealth-oriented appearance. Combined with the brushed steel case and black bezel, the chronograph resembles a professional tool watch more than a purely decorative collector’s piece.

Additional details include rhodium-plated hands and indexes filled with white Super-LumiNova, a red Seamaster logo, and a discreet date window at 6 o’clock.

The model also avoids some of the more overt Bond branding seen on earlier 007 editions. Most references are integrated relatively subtly into the overall design language.

The 007 First Light Caseback

Perhaps the most game-specific element appears on the back of the watch.

Through the sapphire crystal caseback, owners can view the self-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9900 movement — while underneath the glass sits a black metallised 007 First Light logo.

OMEGA describes the movement as offering the brand’s highest standards of precision, magnetic resistance and performance. The chronograph includes a small-seconds display at 9 o’clock as well as a 60-minute and 12-hour recorder at 3 o’clock.

A Presentation Box Inspired by the Game

OMEGA also confirmed that every watch ships in a special presentation box inspired by the in-game transport case used for OMEGA watches in 007 First Light.

That extra touch gives the release a stronger collectible identity and makes the package feel more connected to the game world itself rather than functioning as a standard luxury watch release with a Bond logo attached afterward.

For longtime Bond fans, it is another example of how closely luxury brands continue to be integrated into IO Interactive’s interpretation of Bond.

From GoldenEye to First Light

OMEGA notes that James Bond has worn a Seamaster in every film since 1995. With 007 First Light, that tradition now officially extends into Bond’s newest gaming era as well.

The Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph 007 First Light is available now through OMEGA, starting at £7,900/€9,100 / $9,400 USD.
