007 First Light has now sold more than four million copies since its release — certainly a milestone worth raising a martini to.
The game sold 1.5 million copies within its first 24 hours, becoming the fastest-selling title in IO Interactive history. Sales climbed to 2.7 million after one week, before 007 First Light crossed the 3 million mark in early June.
Less than three months after launch, 007 First Light is already roughly halfway to the 8.09 million lifetime sales of the original GoldenEye 007 on Nintendo 64.
Looking ahead, there is one number that would be particularly fitting for a James Bond game: 007 million copies sold. While that may have to wait until 2027, the Nintendo Switch 2 version, due in late summer, could help Bond get there by reaching a new audience, alongside holiday sales, future discounts and promotions.
