IO Interactive released Update 1.0.2 for 007 First Light on Tuesday. The patch focuses on stability improvements, crash fixes and a number of progression blockers throughout the campaign, alongside several Tactical Simulation fixes.

Fixes
“Operations” Checkpoint Loading Crash
- Fixed a crash that could occur when loading the “Operations” checkpoint in Chapter 02 A Night Out.
GPU Rendering Issue Crash
- Fixed a frequent GPU crash caused by rendering and pipeline issues.
Texture Rendering Crash
- Fixed a crash related to texture loading errors occurring on PC.
Crowd Animation Bug
- Fixed an issue where crowd animation was not resolved when restarting between checkpoints containing crowds, such as the Nightclub in Chapter 02 A Night Out.
Gameplay
Emperor Suite Rooftop Hard Lock
- Fixed an issue where players could fall off the roof of the Emperor Suite in Chapter 08 Time to Die, preventing further progression.
Airfield Cinematic Skip Blocker
- Fixed a progression blocker in Chapter 03 All the Time in the World where skipping the Airfield cinematic at the last possible moment could cause Bond to load outside the world.
Airplane Chase – Vehicle Stuck in Helicopter
- Fixed an issue where the player’s vehicle could become trapped between the helicopter’s propellers during the Airplane Chase sequence, causing mission failure.
Post-Auction Ledge Issue
- Fixed an issue that could cause Bond to become stuck after the Auction sequence in Chapter 03 All the Time in the World.
Android Opportunity Blocker
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 09 Wave of the Future where destroying the spare Android before deployment could permanently block the shooting range Opportunity.
Security Office Save/Load Blocker
- Fixed an issue where reloading after being escorted to the Security Office in Chapter 09 Wave of the Future could leave Bond permanently stuck.
Counter Leading to Displacement
- Fixed a combat bug in Chapter 08 Time to Die where a counterattack against a major story character could cause both characters to slide along corridors or float into the air.
Clipping After Item Throw
- Fixed an issue where throwing an item at a major story character could cause them to clip through the environment.
Explosive Pipes & Missile Pen
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 10 For England where explosive pipes during the first phase of the boss encounter would not detonate when shot with the Missile Pen.
Malta Training – Combat Camera Too Close
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 01 The Needle’s Eye where the close-combat camera could remain zoomed in after certain encounters.
Floating NPC in the Aleph Market Hub
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 04 The Past Never Dies where an NPC could become stuck in a walking animation while floating in mid-air.
NPC Pathfinding Issue
- Fixed an issue in Chapter 08 Time to Die where a hostile NPC could become stuck in front of a door leading to the next cutscene.
NPC Distracted Alert Sound Spam
- Fixed an issue where the distracted NPC sound effect and icon could rapidly trigger repeatedly under certain circumstances.
Tactical Simulation
Infinite Loading Icon When Pausing
- Fixed an issue where the loading icon could loop indefinitely when pausing the game while in Tactical Simulation.
Flash Mine Size Upgrade
- Fixed an issue where Flash Mines could stop functioning after restarting a mission while the Size Upgrade was equipped.
