During the recent PlayStation State of Play, IO Interactive revealed the Story Trailer for 007 First Light — and with it, confirmed that Bond will drive an Aston Martin DBS. The Craig-Era DBS becomes the third Aston Martin Bond is seen driving in the game so far, alongside the yellow vintage Aston Martin DBS and the modern Aston Martin Valhalla.
In the game’s story trailer, Bond is seen racing the DBS through what appears to be a Mediterranean coastal city, possibly Malta. The car is finished in a silver metallic tone, closely resembling the “Casino Ice” specification from Casino Royale.
This DBS is inseparably linked to the modern Bond era. It served as Bond’s primary vehicle in Casino Royale and returned in the high-impact opening chase of Quantum of Solace — a sequence you can revisit above. That Lake Garda pursuit established the DBS as a physically driven performance car rather than a gadget platform.
Introduced in 2007, the production DBS represented the high-performance evolution of the Aston Martin DB9. It retained the aluminum VH architecture but incorporated engineering lessons from the race-developed Aston Martin DBR9.

By placing the DBS into 007 First Light, IO Interactive ties its young Bond directly to one of the most defining automotive chapters of the franchise — and judging by the trailer, this version won’t be driven gently either.
