Shortly after the Xbox Partner Preview, IO Interactive shared another noteworthy update for fans of 007: First Light and Hitman World of Assassination. The studio officially confirmed that both titles will be optimized for the ROG Xbox Ally and the more powerful ROG Xbox Ally X — two handheld Windows devices released last month in partnership between ASUS ROG and Microsoft.
The ROG Xbox Ally line is designed to deliver a console-like Xbox experience in a portable PC form factor, with integrated Xbox services, comfortable controls, and full PC Game Pass support on the go.
This also means that 007: First Light will be playable on the move not only on the Nintendo Switch 2, but also across the new generation of portable, Xbox-enabled PC handhelds.
IOI further announced that both games will support Xbox Play Anywhere, allowing players to buy the game once and play it across Xbox consoles and Windows PC with shared saves and progression.
With broad platform support now confirmed — including Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and the Xbox ROG Ally family — 007: First Light is scheduled to launch worldwide on March 27, 2026.
