After Gamescom 2025, we at Expecting Mr Bond spent many days carefully breaking down every detail of the 007: First Light demo for our readers – combined with exclusive insights we gathered directly from the developers. Our goal was simple: to give fans the most precise, scene-by-scene look at what IO Interactive showed behind closed doors in Cologne.
What we didn’t foresee was that IOI would later share almost the entire Gamescom demo as part of the recent gameplay reveal. A great surprise for the wider Bond community – and it means that everyone is now nearly on the same page.
For that reason, we have taken the original, very detailed version of our preview offline. It will return soon in a streamlined and more focused form, tailored to what fans have now seen themselves.
