Following a recent confirmation via social media ahead of its May 27, 2026 release, 007 First Light will launch with Turkish subtitle support.
During the modern Hitman era, IO Interactive did not include Turkish localization in its language strategy. Across the World of Assassination trilogy, Turkish subtitles were absent, despite consistent requests from the community. For years, Turkish players followed IO Interactive’s releases without official support in their own language.
With 007 First Light, that changes. In a cinematic, story-driven Bond origin game, where dialogue, character dynamics, and political nuance drive the narrative, subtitles carry real weight — because accessibility ultimately shapes immersion.
For a franchise built on international espionage and global storytelling, expanding language accessibility feels fitting. Bond travels the world — and his origin story should be understandable across borders as well.
At launch, 007 First Light will support subtitles in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Japanese, Korean, Polish, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Turkish — a long-awaited step for communities that have been asking for inclusion.
