IO Interactive and MCM Comic Con London have shared a new announcement on social media: the developers of 007: First Light will host a live stage panel on Friday, October 24, at 5:15 PM. The event will run until 6:00 PM, giving fans a full 45 minutes with Bond.
The panel will take place during MCM Comic Con London, which runs from October 24 to 26 at the ExCeL London convention centre.
IO Interactive has so far only shared the Comic Con announcement post, rather than making a larger statement of its own, suggesting that this may not be a major new reveal — but still a great chance to see the game in a live setting. I wouldn’t expect new gameplay on the scale of the State of Play or a longer new trailer, yet smaller surprises or unseen moments wouldn’t be out of the question.
The official announcement mentions “gameplay” and “discussion”, but doesn’t go into further detail. I could imagine that IO Interactive might use the opportunity to showcase the Gamescom demo live on stage, possibly with developer commentary – giving fans who haven’t yet seen the gameplay reveal a closer look at Bond’s first mission. Perhaps there’ll even be a short Q&A session afterwards, allowing attendees to ask questions directly about the making of this reimagined origin story.
The MCM Comic Con website lists the 007: First Light panel as included in all standard tickets, making it a fitting highlight to kick off the first day of the event. And who knows — IO Interactive might still have a few surprises up its sleeve. With several months to go before the March 27 2026 release, this could just be the first of many exciting stops on Bond’s road to launch.
