Sony and IO Interactive have just announced it: 007: First Light will headline a special edition of State of Play on September 3. Fans can expect more than 30 minutes of gameplay, streamed live on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels.
At the last State of Play in June, IO Interactive revealed the first trailer for their espionage action-adventure, offering a glimpse of their unique vision for James Bond. Now, the studio is ready to go deeper:
- A full playthrough of Bond’s very first mission as an MI6 recruit
- High-speed car chases, intense shootouts, and classic stealth gameplay
- A post-show developer segment with IO Interactive, breaking down the espionage mechanics
With this presentation, players will get the clearest look yet at how IOI brings Bond to life in his origin story.
The broadcast kicks off at 11am PT / 7pm BST / 8pm CEST on September 3.
